Stations of the Cross at Home

For the last couple of years, we have had at-home, portable Stations of the Cross sets for families to use during Holy Week. The Stations of the Cross are a centuries-old practice of taking time to read Scripture and pray responsively about moments in Jesus' life on the day of his death. By the work of the Spirit, these moments of reflection also do work in our own hearts and lives, bringing us into deeper understanding of what it means to be his disciples.

Traditionally, Stations are used all in one day (on Good Friday), but that is too compressed for most children. We recommend putting up a Station every day for the 12 days up to and including Good Friday.

Each box has 12 image plaques (or Stations) with an accompanying Scripture reading and prayer. It also has a small booklet explaining how to use the Stations. It is designed in such a way that children can lead if desired.

The boxes’ image content was created by Lauren Wright Pittman (https://sanctifiedart.org/ ) and Little T purchases the rights annually to use her work for this purpose.
